COMPASSION-BASED MINDFULNESS MEDITATION AT GRANGE AND PORT ADELAIDE

Start your week warmly and mindfully - creating space for creativity - clarity - ease & joy to naturally arise. These sessions are open to anyone who is interested in practicing secular compassion based mindfulness meditation.

No previous meditation experience is required. The format of each session involves two guided practices led by Tina Gibson with a short mindful movement practice in between. 

GRANGE

Venue: The Grange Uniting Church Hall, 5 Beach Street, corner of Charles Sturt Avenue, Grange

Times: Monday mornings: 9:00am - 9:45am 

Cost: $10 per session

*If you do not wish to meditate on a chair, feel free to bring a cushion, blanket or yoga mat to ensure your comfort. 

 

Adelaide Mindfulness Community Practice Port Adelaide

PORT ADELAIDE:

Venue: The Folklore cafe via Mundy Street, Port Adelaide (adj. Hart's Mill)

The Folklore cafe is closed to the public on Mondays - so come and benefit from literally sitting on water.

Times: Monday mornings: 7 - 8am 

Cost: $10 per session

October: 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

MONTHLY MINDFULNESS PRACTICE SESSIONS at CUMBERLAND PARK and MOUNT BARKERAdelaide Mindfulness Community Practice Sessions

These sessions are open to anyone who is interested in practicing secular mindfulness / compassion meditation. No previous meditation experience is required. The format of each session involves guided practices led by Barb, followed by informal discussion about the practice. Meditations include: connecting to the breath; open awareness of sounds and thoughts; body scan; loving - kindness practice and mindful stretching. These practices can assist in developing increased clarity, balance and joy in every-day life.

 

Cumberland Park : Sophia Centre, 225 Cross Road, Cumberland Park

Cost: $10 /Concession $5                                  Time: 9.30am-11.00am
