MONTHLY MINDFULNESS PRACTICE SESSIONS at CUMBERLAND PARK and MOUNT BARKER
These sessions are open to anyone who is interested in practicing secular mindfulness / compassion meditation. No previous meditation experience is required. The format of each session involves guided practices led by Barb, followed by informal discussion about the practice. Meditations include: connecting to the breath; open awareness of sounds and thoughts; body scan; loving - kindness practice and mindful stretching. These practices can assist in developing increased clarity, balance and joy in every-day life.

COMPASSION-BASED MINDFULNESS MEDITATION AT PORT ADELAIDE
Start your week warmly and mindfully - creating space for creativity - clarity - ease & joy to naturally arise. These 60-minute sessions are open to anyone who is interested in practicing secular compassion based mindfulness meditation in the unique and delightful setting of the Folklore cafe the Port River.
No previous meditation experience is required. The format of each session involves two guided seated practices with a short mindful movement practice in between. Examples of meditations include: connecting to the breath, open awareness of sounds and thoughts, body scan, grounding practices, and loving - kindness practice.
Venue: The Folklore cafe via Mundy Street, Port Adelaide (adj. Hart's Mill)
The Folklore cafe is closed to the public on Mondays - so come and benefit from literally sitting on water.
Times: Monday mornings: 7 - 8am
Cost: $10 per session
