What is Mindful Self-Compassion

Mindfulness has its origins in Eastern contemplative practices but has evolved into an approach now recognised as being of benefit within a wide range of health and education settings and within the community generally.

Mindfulness involves being aware of and accepting the full experience of life as it unfolds, involving all our senses, thoughts and emotions. Heartfulness is an essential component which, when combined with mindfulness, brings the vital element of a kind and gentle attitude toward oneself and others.

MSC workshops

MSC can be experienced in an intensive format, with the 8 sessions occuring over consecutive days including the extra retreat session.

The MSC intensive follows the same format and content as the 8-week program.
Due to work or family commitments the intensive training may work better for some, it allows participants to fully immerse themselves in MSC. There are options of retreat style residential MSC intensives or non-residential. Please scroll down to see options of intensives with Tina Gibson in 2018.
